I'm thinking about taking out my avalanche and using it in my room as a HT sub. I've seen many setups with dual avalanches as HT subs.
Does anybody know who could build me a box and how much it would cost?
Thanks.

Sub amp: (2) Audiopipe 1500's
Subwoofers: (4) 15" Crunch GPV
Box: 16 cubes tuned to 28hz (removable port)
Extra Batt: C&D 139AH

when do you need it done by?
what type of enclosure? ported, sealed, bandpass, horn, etc etc
Don't need it done anytime soon. I'm just speculating right now, but I want to get an idea of how much everything will cost. I'd have to be able to sell my current HTiB and car amp before I move into real home theater audio.
But I'm thinking the norm for a HT enclosure is a ported box tuned around 15hz?
And it is a 15" avalanche.
^^sounds good
HT tuning numbers always seem so low to me... But I guess if you want an explosion to sound like it is really happening you have to do what you have to do.....
Larger rooms aren't as accomodating when it comes to cabin gain. Sad, but true. Without the cabin gain you need a bloom near 20hz or so to keep things level.
