I bought a 37" lcd and dont really like it. I am thinking of going back to a tube, the sony 34" HD. Whats everyone using? Anything you dont like or problems with what you have used?

What tv do you currently have?
Best receiver ever?
I think so
CRT is a great choice if you don't mind the size/weight.
did you calibrate your LCD? the picture right out of the box is generally not the best. it takes some fine tuning sometimes.
is it hooked up to an HD source?
2003 Chevrolet Suburban
Its hooked up to comcast hd. I have been tuning it a lot. Picture looks great but sometimes it gets grainy. Its a cheap westinghouse, lol. I got it from best buy but I will be taking it back because friday they have panasonic 42" plasmas on sale for 999.00.

If you have comcast make sure you are using components to get your signal. My comcast box has an analog and component output. I switch to the component when I run HD channels and leave it at analog while I run normal channels, the lower normal channels look really bad when I utilize the box using the component which is why they have the option for both.
If your box does not have both call them and tell them your reception through the component cable ***** and you want a dual output one with analog too.
I am running last years Mitsu 52" DLP BTW

64" hitachi
Well I waited in line at best buy and snagged a Panasonic TH-42PX60U plasma. The HD looks great but the Sd could look better. I did hook up analog from my comcast box and it does look better. It looks good enough being I dont watch much SD. The dvd looks great also. I think it was a good deal for 999.00. By the way this set is in my bedroom. I have a 50" older mits in the living room, now I hate to watch it. Guess I am going to have to buck up for a new one.
sony xbr ftmfw!

^^ and the quality differences for SD through the composite vs. component output is going to depend on the quality of the upconverter of the box vs. the upconverter of the television
some cable boxes probably have great quality outputs with all definitions, and most boxes probably have defeatable upconverters, so you can utilize the same outputs, whether it be hdmi or component for all channels SD and HD with or without internal upconversion. this, of course, would require reading the users manual, however, which escapes most people
I have a Samsung 32'' Hdtv lcd
