I guess they do. But BEAT is correct about Meridian being a great name in digital but Meridian might be even MORE expensive than Theta. Meridian prices are RIDICULOUS. But they are some the BEST home audio equipment on the market. Theta however has always been a household name when it comes to D/A conversion.

The only reason I bring it up is because you were already talking about your neighbors bitching about your stereo at normal listeing levels. Let alone, when you want to open it up a little bit. Or listen to a movie the RIGHT way.

That is so not true. I don't live in an apartment, or even close to anyone, but I know that if my neighbor was shaking my walls, your **** right I'd complain. I'd complain my little *** off. Not because I could "never get that", because it's just not very courteous. Now, if it's a slight muffled sound or something, that'd be fine.
I'm just glad we live on 3 acres with no houses anywhere near close by. I can crank up the stereo as loud as I want :yumyum:

The girls that work the front desk come up and ask me to turn it down. BUT, I am friends with 5/6 of them so it isn't really a problem.
I don't see how they are bothered by it, if I go into my bath room I can't even hear it. So, oh well....

My freshman year the guy that lived next to me had a old school fisher system. Sounded OK, but the last day before we both moved out we put all our speaker in the door way so they fired down the hall and I ran him a signal cable and we played our **** at max. People 4 floors away were complaining...
