exactly, my choice would have been towers, but it needed to be hidden, so i went with that option and hand picked my speakers to get the best sound i could.

    Panasonic Receiver
Pioneer HPM-60 Old School "loudspeakers" - I love these bad boys.

One of my subs surrounds' cracked, so I had to duct tape it. The duct tape adds +3 dB

A view from my dorm because I felt like posting it. You can see my black Explorer with it's *** facing towards you.

And yes, I do have some Ninja Turtles on my right speaker box. TMNT FTW!

    Here's my dorm last year...

Heres a pic of my screen in my dorm for my projector, with my "center" channel above my subwoofer. MDF covering ftw.

pic of screen without flash, little blurry cause I can't hold still lol. Colbert is my hero.

My receiver, nintendo(dr. mario on the projector rocks), movies, and projector custom mounted under my loft. Lots of wires I know, it was organized till I had to move everything and I'm to lazy to redo it.

    receiver is an onkyo tx-sr503
all 5 speakers are dayton 2 ways I made. Redoin the mains with my own design this summer.
sub is an aa assassin runnin on 300 watts in a sealed box
    projector is a toshiba tdp-t9

awesome setup for a dorm room imo
