But if you want them hidden its the only way to go.

exactly, my choice would have been towers, but it needed to be hidden, so i went with that option and hand picked my speakers to get the best sound i could.

Pioneer HPM-60 Old School "loudspeakers" - I love these bad boys.

One of my subs surrounds' cracked, so I had to duct tape it. The duct tape adds +3 dB

Sub: Dayton Sub 120 (12" powered)-Im poor but it works pretty good

Heres a pic of my screen in my dorm for my projector, with my "center" channel above my subwoofer. MDF covering ftw.

pic of screen without flash, little blurry cause I can't hold still lol. Colbert is my hero.

My receiver, nintendo(dr. mario on the projector rocks), movies, and projector custom mounted under my loft. Lots of wires I know, it was organized till I had to move everything and I'm to lazy to redo it.


receiver is an onkyo tx-sr503
all 5 speakers are dayton 2 ways I made. Redoin the mains with my own design this summer.
sub is an aa assassin runnin on 300 watts in a sealed box
projector is a toshiba tdp-t9

Judging by the popularity of this thread I would say the Home audio forum is slow moving due to subject NOT it's location outside of the lounge. I do think before posting, hence the reason I didn't participate or put this thread in the wrong place to begin with.
