alpine 9851 or 9830?

Hey everyone I'm new to the world of sound and was wondering if you all could help me. Which is the better headunit, the 9851 or the 9830? Thanks in advance.

the 9851 is the better of the two if you are looking for those options and what not. if the 9830 does everything you need then its a great deck for you. i own a 9830 and it does everything i need it to do and more. i think it might even have too many features on it.

I have a 9830 and like it except the display is hard to read during the day. My truck has a somewhat bright interior (lt grey). The unit has a very reflective face, and kinda dim LEDs, all these things together add up to a hard to read display. Great unit in all other ways.
