Would I greatly benefit from this change?

Would a change from a Kenwood KDC MP522 to something like an Eclipse 8053 (i have external amp), Pioneer DEH-860MP or similiar make a really big difference in sound? I run the eq settings flat and loud off because the kenwood distorts at low volumes. Not sure of the kenwood's preout voltage either. Any ideas?

Ditch the Driftwood and put in the tried and true Eclipse and sit back and listen to the difference between a lightshow and a good cd player. After you hear it for yourself you too will understand.

    Yeah, whatever
