    Clarion DXZ745MP or DXZ835MP

I am trying to decide which head unit I should get. Its between the Clarion DXZ745MP and the DXZ835MP.
    Prices eBay.
    745 - $ 165 factory refurb, $205 new
    835 - $ 180 factory refurb

I am just wondering which head unit I should get.

Does Clarion give an certification or documentation about the work on the head unit?

I used to have a Clarion DXZ725 in my old car. I like that headunit, except for the lack of an MP3 player.

I have a clarion dxz745mp and I really like it. The only thing I don't like about it is that there is no high pass crossover. I checked out the DXZ835mp and other than different looking buttons I can't see any difference between it and the dxz745mp, even after reading the specs.

Oh ok... I wish I would have known that, I would have gotten the 835 for the highpass over my 745. Not a big deal I guess.

    845 only has 2.2v pre-outs i thought...

and a 1bit DAC vs. 24bit in the 745. not 100% sure though.

You're correct about the 845 but he's talking about the 835.
