I like it very much. so much customization.
If I were you I wait for the new AVIC-N2

AVIC-N2 has a new security feature which mean u can't have DVD on screen while drivin, and you can't just ground the parking brake cable. You cannot have DVD on while goin over 5 MPH on the avic-n2 which part of the new security feature it has.

If u plan to have dvd while drivin then get avic-n1

The picture quality isn't the greatest but everything else is awesome. Installation was quite easy and if you can get it for a good price, I'd say go for it.

ok does anyone suggest anything with a better picture and just as much custom stuff on it? i need to be able to play dvds while driving but then again i guess if u hooked up a ps2 to it you could probly play dvds in the ps2 while driving..... thats always a possibility i dunno if it would work though?

sometimes this year. I dun think u still can have dvd by using the ps2. You cannot have anything on if u r goin over 5 MPH. Its a new security feature thats more complicated than all other indash.

Basically the N2 is the exact thing as N1. The big difference is that N2 have XMTraffic feature that cost about 14 bucks a month, and serius/xm ready.

I myself am planning on Buying an avic-N1 when i get either a Scion tC or a Chevy Cobalt this summer. dude, you can wire your gauges to the reciever!!!!

i have the n1... love it... the gauges are cool but no need 2 have 2 speedos in the car... all you do is hook up speed sense and it tells you how fast you're going... ** i didn't hook my speed sense up and it still tells me ... weird... ** and it tells you voltage and direction you are travelling... i like navigation and the dvd's

just got the pioneer 6400cd...threw a dvd player under the seat...really clean...500bucks...done who need the navigation and gauges on the h/u thats pretty rice...well its cool but not for a grand
