Ok i bought a Alpine 9835 after my **** got stolen...
im wondering if the amplifer link will work with my alpine mrd m500?
in the manual it says with the mrd m501 but they are the same amps pretty much right?
like i know with a rux 4280 controler i could do it with both amps but is the amplifer link the same thing? and do i need to buy another adatper?

NO It will not work. The 9835/33 will only hook up to the MRD-M501/301. I think its due to a software thing this year, and the connections are different too I believe. No module to bypass it yet.
As far as the RUX goes, Im not sure if it works on this years amps or not. I haven't really looked at it lately. The amp link will do the same thing that the rux control module does, but it will do it right on your HU.
