I too was looking for a low end head unit a while ago, I am happy to report the Alpine 9827 fit the bill quite nicely. It will do everything you named and runs pretty cheap (ebay).

I am looking to get rid of my Alpine-9813 HU. It has been used for a few months no cosmetic damage in perfect condition. Will come with the HU case, manual, original box. FYI I do not have the remote for it anymore. $200 shipped to your door. PM me or email at [email protected]. Thanks Adam

If I were the original poster, I'd get that offer... Why go with the new 9821 and up when you can get the older model 9815, 9813, 9811's for the same price ? 9835 and 9815 have almost the same features, just a differant display. Save some money and get the used 9813, don't think your going to get better for that price point.

    HU: Apline 9815
    Sub: Image Dynamics 12 v3 @ ~ 28 hz
    Sub Amp: eD NiNe.1
    Comps: Looking towards ID CTX65cs
    Comp Amp: Needed! Got 150w x2 @ 4 ohms to sell ?
