I am asking this question for my buddy. He has a 2003 GMC Denali and wants to replace the factory head unit with a double din and add a backup camera. The Denali has the factory Bose system.

This is a moderate budget project and no plans to upgrade the Bose factory stuff. I have no clue what head unit would be capable, what camera to use, and what triggers the camera to show up on the head unit?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
