    Icon12 Pioneer Ipod Computability Question

    Hey Guys!

I was hoping to have a question answered. I've tried searching but the topic seems to be more related to Iphones and Appradio. I've never owned a pioner touch double din before so Im not sure sure what appradio is other than what i've read.

Im looking to buy a avh-x5500bhs. I have a 7th generation ipod nano (lightning cable) that i'd like to use with it.

The only function i want is to be able to access my ipod through the head unit. (scroll, select, song info, etc)

Would that work between these two devices? Thanks in advance!

Just bought that head unit, should be here soon. It looks top notch and highly reviewed!

    Re: Pioneer Ipod Computability Question

According to the manual, its App Mode only works with 6th generation and down. It might still read and play it, though...

    Re: Pioneer Ipod Computability Question

Get a Lightning to 30 pin adapter from Apple and use the Pioneer CD-IU201V cable or a USB-30 pin charging cable from an older iDevice.
