Need help with A/V Pioneer AVH-x4500bt

so here is my problem.
im trying to connect a game console to my HU.
i have a 300watt peak power inverter.
i tried connecting a N64 to my HU via the rca inputs. on the back.
i can get audio but no video.
my e break is up.

so i went to radio shack and got the rca to "Head phone jack" with the 4 pillars for video..
same thing. i get audio but no video.

i tried these for systems

n64
portable SNES
and the NES

any suggestions?

Also my bad...
the power inverter peaks at 800w...
its 300w constant

if i wiggle the rca cable thats video i get video.. but its just one frame.. so its frozen when on the handheld its playing. same with the nes and n64

i can connect it to my rear view camera input and it gets a choppy frame by frame
