Dont really know much about this topic, but im looking at 2 head units, one has 3 sets of 2v rca outputs and one has 3 sets of 4v outputs, whats the difference in voltage gonna mean?

4 volt is a cleaner signal....
What brands are you looking at..??
not necessarily true a boss deck with 4volts out will sound like **** compared to a alpine deck with 2 volts out it depends more on the brandQuote:

Deciding between a jvc (2v) and a kenwood (4v) right now, not the best deck but affordable, was just wondering if there was a huge difference in the voltages being different
Either receiver would be fine, made by the same company, pick the one that has more sq features, d/a converter, EQ or internal, HD, BT crossovers, or whatever suits your preference. if the kenwood has the 4 volts go with it, exelon models are high end units.Quote:
