    Alpine's new CDA receiver.

Seems that Alpine has not totally abandoned the CDA line, and some of the processing abilities that came with it.

Personally I think Alpine could do better. At least give the user high pass and low pass filters if someone wanted to go 2/3way active.

Do they normally push new high end single DINs to the UK before the US? Isn't it the other way around?

349.99 British pounds and they're still pushing a separate Imprint module!?

Looks like they are stepping it up with this single din monitor unit, IVA-D800R. It has processing abilities as well as a copper plated chassis.

    Re: Alpine's new CDA receiver.

Alpine can make as many new CDA receivers as they want but the fact remains that you have to pay for imprint to use additional features that other companies such as Kenwood, Pioneer have standard in their head units. I was a faithful Alpine user since 1988 but no longer. Until they make head units that are loaded with features that I do not have to buy extra processors to use I am staying clear of Alpine.
