Pioneer AVH-P4400BH

Looking to install this HU in my 2007 GMC Pickup, with the New Body Style (not Classic style). Was doing some comparisons with other HU's, and I see one website, crutchfield, says this unit will not fit my truck. Sonicelectronix says it will.

Anybody got any ideas if this unit will fit the new bodystyle GM pickups? Would hate to get this thing outta the box, then have to lose my mind and go apeshit modding the inside of my dash just to make it fit...

Its the double din right? I have the avh 8400bh, and it was a tight fit. And the way the screen slides open you have to make sure you have a lil bit of extra clearance.

I had to drill new holes in the mounting brackets just to get the screen to sit outside my dash a lil bit that way the screen could slide open without hitting anything.
