Pioneer Head unit Dilemma
On one side we have the Pioneer DEH-80PRS and the other is a DEX-P99RS... I'm getting a price of 335$ on the DEH-80PRs and $686 on the 99RS. The 99RS is a floor model, on display for 1.5 years looks brand new. my dilemma is the 99RS does not have bluetooth so I would have to do a aftermarket unit.
Thanks

Guess I failed in that respect, both are awsome HU for sound quality, one is the 99rs worth the extra cash and two what too do about the no bluetooth option.

Re: Pioneer Head unit Dilemma
I couldn't imagine not having Bluetooth in the car these days. I think the P99 is ridiculously overpriced, and has features that sound great to sell stereos, but don't make a difference. Things like a copper chassis, 32 bit DAC (humans can't really differentiate above 16 bit anyway, especially in a car, focusing on driving with the ambient wind and traffic noise), blah blah blah. It's a good unit, but the 80PRS is pretty much a giantkiller at the price point. Hell, the Clarion CZ702 has pretty well redefined everything at bringing a brand new deck that does time alignment and active at about $200. For a street driven car, I'd say it has everything you need.
