    Pioneer P99Rs

From the little I know of mobile audio, it looks like this H/U has a full bore processor already built in. Is this correct? If so that would mean anyone buying this head unit can do away with their processor?

    Alpine CDA-9887, Eclipse CD7000, CD7100, CD7200MKII (deadhead), Eclipse 8445, 5030, Pioneer PRS880, PRS800, plenty of them.

Unless of course you need 4 way active (3 way front stage + sub) then the rest listed will do just fine.

Well if you have the money, why not get the best deck out right now... It is still going to sound better than all of those decks, but if you would like to save some money, get a PRS800 or a Alpine 9887, like Whitedragon said.

If he really wants to drop $1000+ on a HU that hes only going to use half the functions on then more power to him.

Well, people every day spend more than that on DD HU's just to have a whiny voice nag at them on their way somewhere.

    Re: Pioneer P99Rs

I have the p99rs and I love it. The auto eq is pretty decent too. I've had all those other decks listed above and they're all decent units but if u have the extra cash grab the p99. Again the prs was the better unit imo out of the others listed above. The alpine h701 is great too. I never used the audison bit-one but year its pretty good and I didn't like the ms-8, if that helps.
