Alpine CDE 9881, ipod cords cost $$$! Help alpine owners.

So I recently got a alpine CDE 9881 and I was hesitant since it didnt have an AUX input and all my music comes from my ipod. But the HU only cost me 50$ so I got it. I know I need to buy an alpine specific ipod cable but ****, they are all like 30-40$. So for all alpine owners here, where is the cheapest place to get the ipod cord I need?

And how do you like it? Is it hard to use, etc?
