Wanting a head unit that has good sound and a good ipod user interface

I now have an iphone that is loaded with songs so I am looking to upgrade from my pioneer that I have now. I have not looked at radios in forever but have looked at alpine and pioneer

I currently have an 07 Civic Sdn

    Hertz 6.5 comp
    2 HX2 12's
    Fosgate Type RF amps

I was looking at the CDA 117 but have read horrible reviews on the ipod interface and I do not like the front usb input on the deh 7200

Just looking for some input or recommendations for other units that sound good and have a good ipod interface

    thanks

    Headunit................
    High/mid................. Focal 165k2
High/mid amp......... Fosgate Type RF X2
Sub Amp................. Fosgate Type RF X3
    Subs....................... Fosgate (2) 12'' HX2

All waiting to go into a Mazda3

Might use my epx2 but not sure....
