Head Unit Limits Set By O-Scope...

Im thinking this might be a pretty neat idea. Everyone with an o-scope checks their headunit to find out when it starts clipping. It'd be neat to get a list together with the headunit and where it starts clipping at so others know who dont have an o-scope.

lets try to make this uniform by using the same tones. 1khz and 40hz

Ill start with this...

Eclipse CD7200 mkII (80 is max volume) - Front outs dont clip, sub outs start to clip at 75-76.

I have access to a few other headunits and will post up my findings as soon as i get time to mess with them

Did you use the appropriate resistor matched to the output impedance of your head unit's RCA outputs? If not, your clipping measurements may be skewed a little.
