Got a new deck , anybody have experience with it?

I just got a pioneer 3900MP from a friend for free. How clean do they play? Any tips for minimal clipping using said deck?

Also , should i use my PPI line driver and lose fading or just connect amps straight to the deck and use the built in EQ??

Great deck. Not high end SQ quality but they'll deliver excellent sound. I would suggest getting a line driver though (2.2V preamp output), and making sure the RCA outputs are well grounded.

I just traded my line driver away for some nice components. Oh well , my old amps only say they are compatible with 2-0.1 volts anyhow. Should be fine.
