Will this remote work with my JVC AVX830?

Hi there,
I just just installed my JVC AVX830 about a week or so ago, but it did not come with a remote.
I was doing some research and came across the RM-RK252 remote from JVC. Will this work with my unit?

JVC CAR A/V REMOTE CONTROL Part Number RM-RK252
My unit is listed at the bottom.

If this wont work, is there any other solution to adding a remote to this unit? (something to do with the steering wheel controls adapter possibly?)

I do realize that that site says it is compatible. But I was unaware that my unit had the hardware required for a wireless remote built in. I am looking for someone to confirm this.
