Need advice on headunit

Hey everybody. I'm looking to spend around 200 dollars on a headunit. The features i find most important are 3 pre-outs and ipod capability. Max is 250 area. What would you recommend and why?

kenwood excelon kdc-x693. 150 or so on EBAY. Everything you would want in head unit plus more.

Well I'm somebody else....but I was gonna recommend the 693 also...

...maybe that tells ya something. Get the 693 and never look back. Once you have it, you won't want to.

Any of the Kenwood Excelon HU are nice.
YOu can prolly find the X993 for around your budget. Bought mine local for $240 installed. Nice HU for the price.

I just picked up the Excelon X993 for $200 shipped off of Ebay from Sonicelectronix ( I got 10% cashback using Bing.com). They also offer a 2 year warranty on it! I got a steal on a heck of a head unit. I've only had it installed for 3 days now, but I LOVE the Ipod functionality of the unit. The menu is NOWHERE near as difficult to navigate as some have made it out to be. I played around with it for about 1/2 hour after work, and I pretty much had it. Just keep the manual handy in case you need to reference it for something. If you want bluetooth, then the X993 is the way to go. If you don't want the bluetooth, I believe the X693 is the same head unit, minus the bluetooth.
