    AVH-P5700DVD question

    I just got a brand new ipod touch 2nd generation and i was wondering if the straight wire to the ipod would work with this head unit or do i NEED the pioneer made adapter? because I heard the adapter doesn't charge the newer model ipods

    also i'd like to have the adapter that can play videos and music and charge the ipod at the same time if possible.. thanks
