I came across a used 7998 that is in excellent condition. It comes with everything like when new.The only problem is that its 350.00,that seems a little high to me.What would be a good offer to make?

Wow you guys are quick today, thanks.
Ive been doing some research on this HU and it is obviously a nice unit.My problem is that its what,8-9 years old??I know it has no Ipod control and Im fine with that, but even in todays world is this still a good unit to use or is it becoming obsolete? To answer your next question, yes I do plan to run active as soon as I have the extra money to do so.
Still a great unit.but even in todays world is this still a good unit to use or is it becoming obsolete?
its a great SQ unit.
Its gonna have to be sold to someone who appreciates good sound.
The unit doesnt have ipod control (I know you can use the CD changer method)
no blue tooth.
And i cant remember if it reads MP3s or not
most people want all those features in a new unit so thats what makes it hard to sell at a decent price.
either way I wouldnt pay more than $200 for it, they may be selling for more, but thats all id pay
CDT ES comp
Eclipse EA4200 amp on highs
TC Sounds LMS-r 12"
nine.1
it does support mp3 format but not wma or aac. it's a good sq unit with lots of stuff to play around with (bass engine pro). i say low ball at 200 and see where you go from there.
