    Alpine CDA-9857 iPod cable.

    What up.

I'm looking for an iPod cable for my alpine cda 9857 that will charge my iPod. The one I currently have now (kce-422i) doesn't support charging. Also, does it matter what model iPod you have? I have the 4th generation iPod nano which is the newest. Please help. Thanks!

Nevermind. Looks like I need the kce-422TR adapter in order to charge the 4th generation iPod nano. F*cking $50 for this little thing though?? Wow. http://www.crutchfield.com/S-Hfyn10w...KCX-422TR.html

i believe i've seen a scosche adapter that does the same thing for a few dollars less. honestly, i'd probably keep it all alpine though. they've got to be a little better quality than the scosche.
