I'm looking at getting this setup. Was wandering if anyone has this Head unit with the power pack. I've not seen a whole lot on this new Power Pack but sounds like a good idea for me. If anyone has any input, I'd love to hear it. Thanks!

I posted something abouty the KTP-445 in the amplifiers section the other day. I don't think this thing has actually ever been released. I have no idea when it will be, either. Very mysterious.

Its up for pre-order on crutchfield for $119.99 but doesn't mention anything about a specific date. Not bad of a price for crutchfield atleast.

No way would I pay $119 bucks for something that looks like this:
Unless it gets incredible reviews from reputable sources.

Its an 4x45 RMS amp designed to be squeezed into your dash somewhere. Who cares what it looks like? For $119 and that size, I would say the reviews need only be that its decent to sell like gangbusters. My suspicion is that they're having problems getting it to perform like it should however...it was supposed to be out months ago.

idk i would rather just spend that 120 and buy an amp that will put out those numbers, cuase hell, i know that amps work! haha
but thats just me
I'm certainly not recommending anyone use this thing if it sounds like crap or doesn't really put out the claimed power! At this point however, nobody knows what it does, because its vapor-ware. I absolutely hate running wires however...so if I could get sufficient power for me (this is obviously not a show winner type setup) then I'd love it due to the easy install.

Talked to Crutchfield today and it's expected on 2/16/09 but that could change. They've been getting alot of response to it. I'm also for it if it performs like it's supposed to. It's hidden in the dash, no extra wires to run, simple.
Wow, that is seriously late.
