    How do i turn off internal amplifier?

    I tried looking through the manual and didnt see anything.

    i have a kenwood x791

    I have never had a HU that allowed turning off the internal amp...

    Go to page 35 in your manual.

    According to your manual you have to enter the stand by mode menu... Not sure how to do that on your unit, but its in there.

    and it help with the SQ through the RCA's

    and the unit doesn't have to work as hard, keeping it cooler

    if your using amps, you don't need the head unit to amp anything. why have the internal amp on if you don't use it?

    i'm waiting for my 9887 is it possible to keep 2 of the channels on for the rear deck and shut the other two off for the door speakers?

    i did not know that. i'm going to turn it off in my x591. i just run amps anyway
