Premier 880PRS or 800PR? What is better?

Looking for a new HU for one of my cars, does anyone know what the difference is between the Pioneer Premier 800PRS and 880PRS and what unit is better?

I've owned both. I liked the looks of the 800PRS better.

there is no difference worth going crazy over. the 800 has a black face and a copper plated chassis. the 880 has a silver face and a normal non copper plated chassis. those are the only differences.

if you can find a good, cheap, used 880 like i did then go for it.

Also, if it is face color that may be a deciding factor try and find a non-commercial photo of the 880... it looks nothing like the Pioneer website, IMO. The face is actually a darker, gunmetal-like color. For more than $100 difference in price between the two, I would go for the 880. That one "atsaubrey" has for sale is a good deal.

true. I originally ordered the 880PRS but it was out of stock so i called and complained. they gave me a pretty darn good deal on the 800 so that wasnt an issue for me
