DEX-P9 Remote cable

Hi

During my system tests, the DEX-P90 Remote(+) cable accidentally touched one of the RCA (-), and at this specific time the amplifiers didn't worked.
then I turned off the head unit, I took the remote cable away and then turned on the HU again and everything start work again.

my question is if this situation might damage anything in the Head Unit?
what is the symptom of faulty RCA preouts?

What do you mean "remote positive"?? Are you using this DEX-P9 without the companion processor?? (DEQ-P9)? Are you talking about the remote turn on lead from the head unit?? the Blue and white one.

yes, the blue\white one.

I guess it could cause damage if you continued to do this but a one time thing shouldn't do anything bad. Especially if you say it is working now.
