Eq???

I was wondering why does it matter if a hu has a good eq when you set everything at 0 when you are tuning your system? wouldnt you only use it if youre goin active and not passive?

you still wanna be able to turn certain frequencies down in the end. you just don't wanna turn any bass boosters or frequencies up

no. just because you adjust your gains with the eq off, doesn't mean you don't adjust your eq when finished. when adjusting gains, you want a clean, flat signal. adjust your eq to your taste when finished.
