Help with deciding on a head unit

Hi guys i am like killing myself trying to decide whether to get the Kenwood excelon 592 or the alpine 9884. I know that the kenwood has better preout but the alpine has a superior ipod interface IMO or atleast i THINK so. and my ipod is what i will primarily be using. Other than those two differences most of the other differences are aesthetic. However, Please give me some replies and also if there is any head unit that you guys would like to recommend with a fairly easy ipod interface and anywhere 200$ or under maybe a little more depending or if i really like it or not

first impressions, go with the alpine. You won't ever be dissapointed with an alpine, considering you're biggest factor is iPod interface

Just for iPod I would say the Alpine. If you needed any other features (IE planning on building a system) I have no idea bc you didnt list anything else.
