Well I bought the radio saturday night after my Alpine 7995 that I got from ebay was just not what I wanted.
Overall its about the same as anyother Pioner radio ive owened.
The menus are about the same.
The backgrounds are a little differant and I like alot of them.
The radio has a built in bass boost which is cool I guess but I dont like to use it.
Has a 7band Eq and it does the job.
HP crossover can be set at 50/63/80/120
Sub can be set to 50/63/80/120
Has 4 v preouts
Overall I really like the radio.
The usb connection is really fast and the radio will display the text info.
The manual says you can use up to a 250gb harddrive/jumpdrive.
The ipod control is really good. I like that if you are listening to say an Aerosmith song and you want to hear more Aerosmith, you can hold down "list" and it will bring up all the Aerosmith you have on your ipod. I dont know if this will work on a Usb drive since the largest one i have is 1gb.
I give it a 8/10 becasue of no time aligment and can not go active. But I didnt need either of those some im fine
If you thinking about it do it.
The 7000ub does not have a motorized face and has a much simpler display(text instead of OEL) the only thing you do get is bluetooth which is what made me choose the 6000 over the 7000
