is this unit worth it cause I'm tinking of upgrading my 9411 for it and want to get some feedback from anyone who has it.

have you had any personal experiences to back that statement up? Because for the price, they are actually really hard to beat.

And what model? How was it installed? Was it truly the deck that did it or poor install?

Yes, and i would have to say that im quite impressed with the screen on my 9311 for what i paid, and how long its lasted. A buddy of mine also has the new touchscreen version and its very nice as well. Like i said, for the price, they are hard to beat. ARe there better? Certainly, but there are also much worse.

Deck over heated or something don't know the model it came with the car only had it for a week before I saw the smoke, never again am I going to buy jensen.

actually, jensen makes some good stuff. I have used both the 9412 and 9512. For the amount of features they offer and the ability to connect the Ipod and charge it at the same time, etc.. it's not gonna be beat as far as price is concerned. the screen is crisp when watching dvds as well. the only thing i would suggest is to run amps to run your speakers, the internal eq and amp won't get it done.

I've had the 9411 (non touchscreen) for 2 years and the only problem I had was the crappy TV tuner but I was impressed for the $600 I spent for it. want a touch screen so was looking at the 9512 or the pioneer 4900dvd so more feed back on these models instead of the hate would be greatly appreciated. BTW my setup is an RFT3000db 1 ohm to 4 Diamond Audio D9's @ 32hz 4 Pioneer 5 way 6x9's 2 Infinity 4x6's and 2 1 inch dome tweets with 2 kx350.4's on them 2 red tops and all 0 wire. I literally beat the paint off my car with this setup.
