Is this a better head unit than my current one?

Ok... So I'm about to get a new head unit, and I wanted to make sure it was better than my current one. I know the brand is more reputable, but I'm wondering about the actual head unit itself. Oh, and the new one, I can get basically new for $100 from a friend who is also selling me speakers.

The panasonic is better, IM. The deh-p80 had a poor interface.
