^^ yep, unless you plan on using the usb, and like the motorized face, then you might aswell get the 5900.

personally i would go with the deh-690ub, awesome head unit i actually am currently using it and is awesome. The motorized faceplate is really cool, and the usb is great to have because you can not only use the ipod with it, but also any flash drive or hard drive! Defiantly go with the p690ub, but look on ebay for this one, can get it for 200 bucks shipped.
