I'm looking to replace my current HU with something with more EQ and USB. I want to keep the price low, so here are my current choices: Kenwood KDC-X591, Clarion DZX575USB, or Pioneer DEH P6900UB. I can get them all for about the same price. My question is, which one of these will give me the best EQ options and the best SQ?

But out of those choices, their all good. I like clarion, but it's up to you.

Out of those, i would go with the pioneer.. The clarion is nice and has 24bit dacs but, only has a 2 band peq.

What is your budget? If you don't buy authroized you can pick up the DXZ775USB for about 200 shipped on ebay but no warranty. Just a thought. I like the Clarion or the Pioneer either would serve you well.IMO

yeah the panasonic *****...I bought it a few years ago, before I knew anything about good HU's, along with the rest of my system. In the process now of upgrading everything. I'm looking to spend under 200 and it looks like I'm going Pioneer FTW.

I have the DZX575USB and I think it is a great HU. I got it for about $150 shipped from ebay. I bought it for the high voltage outputs, 24bit dac, and the USB mainly.
But it's all personal preference and what you can afford; also has to do with what you want in a HU.

Other than fooling around with the Pannys at my local CC i do not know much about them. I just purchased the DEH-P6900ub the other day. Before that i had 2 clarions. Crazy thing was i went to this store (Frys) a while back to get a Panny, but when i saw the clarion for the same price, i went with it. Recently I seriously considered getting the clarion 775usb ( i actually had it, installed it, and returned it) but some of the features of the Pioneer won me over. And it was 50 dollars off at CC.
One other thing that made me go Pioneer this time was the range on the remote. My friend was controlling his from outside the car. on my Clarion 555MP i need to be right up on the **** thing. My advice is to comparison shop. I was looking for something with USB functionality for my portable hard drive.
