I only hear how great the eq is and that you can go active, but does it navagate an i-pod well? At all? I love the i-pod controll on my alpine 9856 but it lacks processing. tia,Chuck

it does, i dont have an ipod but just from experience i can tell you that the ipod + pioneer combo is very easy to use!

It is indeed very easy to you. But it is kinda slow. I have both and i mainly use the ipod.

the 9856 has the best ipod interface, however the extra processing features of the 880 make it worth it. i just sold my 9856 and kca-422i and am waiting on my 880. imo what you gain in processing is worth the slower ipod interface.

well you need to get a mini-jack to rca adapter. it'll plug into your headphone jack and you'll control the music through your ipod and not the headunit
