iPod + DXZ758RMC

Hi All,

I just got a CCA-649-600 cable for my iPod but to my disapointment it seems that it is NOT compatible with my DXZ758RMC. Is that true or is there some way around this?

From what I read i'm not left very impressed with the Clarion / iPod integration.
