    avn5500 vs avn5435

Can anyone tell me what the major differences between these two units are? I know the 5500 is the newer model, but what features were updated. I can't find much of anything.

    Thanks,

    Devin

P.s. Anyone know if the new avic-d3 will compare with either of the eclipse units. I'm having a hard time deciding on a nav unit.

only real difference is the newer maps (new map disc costs like $300) and a 3d 'street view' when zoomed in all the way in select cities.

i think the d3 will actually be better for the money, but id have to see once it came out. the dvd based eclipses need a little work to be great.
