I need some help removing my headunit

i want to put some subs and an amp in my car and now i have everything. about a month ago circuit city installed my head unit for me a sony xplode one
when they gave me the box back everything was in there except for the "keys" to get the headunit out
i need to know if there is anyway i can get the head unit out without those keys

depends on the radio

most can be popped out simply by sliding a butter knife or a piece of a broken credit card along the side of the radio

some newer units have to be removed in pieces (the kenwood xxv-01d) because they're actually bolted to the car from the inside
