    Another Audio advice Thread

first off......love the forum. Lost and lots of good material here.

I am looking for an a/v & nav system for m 2007 Tahoe.

All the shops around ehre have pushed towards the Apline IVA-W200 witht he blackbird kit.

if i went with this kit should i buy through a shop or ebay it and install privately.

Here is the quote they sent me:

    Dbl DIN: ivaw200 999.00
    BOSE> DATABUS/ONSTAR 119.99
    CHIME MODULE reqgm 29.99
    MINI GPS W/DOCK 499.99
    ALPINE PMD-DOK 199.99
    ANTENNA ADAPTER 14.99
    GEO/SUZ2000+ 18.99
    DECK LABOR 130.00
    BLACKBIRD DOCK LABOR 55.00

    MATERIALS 1883.93
    LABOR 185.00
    MISC 9.25
    TAX 171.45
    TOTAL 2249.63

OR should i consider another system. Its a must for mobile video and nav.

    Thanks for any advice

    James

I can get you a Pioneer Avic Z1 for much much cheaper than has HDD navi. No need to buy anything external to plug in, just one solid unit...

You can get a Z1 for less than a IVA-W200? If you can, I am interested.
