cheap indash dvd player

does anyone have experience with this unit ? i like the way it looks except for the ipod screen but i dont use an ipod so that wont bother me , i need opinions please

it's not the worst head unit ever. i wouldn't pay that much though. i'd say around 350, maybe 400 would be a decent deal.

i'm not sure i'd do a cheap touchscreen. i had the jensen vm9510 and it was ok. i could tell it was cheaply built though. on the plus side, the picture was pretty dam good.

try ebay if you want something cheap. You could buy a cheapass dvd player indash(no screen) and then throw 2 9" visor lcd's in there for probably 400 to your door. I would personally go that route, but there are some offbrand indash dvd/lcd for way cheaper, you probably get what you pay for though

kenwood indash's can be had for around that price. i forgot the site but they were around 500-700$

that's a decent plan. i've seen indash dvd w/7 inch screens on ebay for 350$. do not buy the innovatek brand. my buddy got one and it is not even worth 100$. total crap.

i've had an innovatek for like 3 years now, its not the best for sure but i'm more then happy with it. it doesnt play dvd's its just the screen and h/u but it works great imo. i hooked up a portable dvd player to it and watch movies on it sometimes....picture could be better, but its not BAD. my 2cents

I think CC did the jensen for $299 for today (black friday)

And sounddomain has the jensen units starting at 299, i was thinking about getting one for my work truck

i've had an innovatek for like 3 years now, its not the best for sure but i'm more then happy with it. it doesnt play dvd's its just the screen and h/u but it works great imo. i hooked up a portable dvd player to it and watch movies on it sometimes....picture could be better, but its not BAD. my 2cents

my buddy got the jvc kd-avx knock off with the 3 inch screen. terrible.

I bought one of those jensens from walmart and it started screwing up the second day. the screen would go in and out by itself, the touch screen only worked half the time. I took it right back. I would stay away.

they look the same to me...both are jensen..but i dont know why the first one you post says its an Audiovox.

They are ok..better then Dual...but ill stay away from them, because you pay what you get for.

i went to a local shop today and messed around with the best jensen they had and the screen did look very nice but the touchscreen controls were very hard to use and had somewhat of a delay to it so i started messing around with a VRX765VD clarion and it was so much easier to use than the jensen and you could tell right away it wasnt cheap like the jensen soo ........ i ended up picking me up one lol , not installed yet because they wanted $150 to install it! i was going to go home and do it tonight but it was too cold for me so i am going to wait until the morning and install it
