    AVN7000 Install gone wrong

Ok so I take out the stock deck and then put everything back in and plug everything back in. The only 2 plugs that arent plugged in anymore are some small ones that were on the stock cd player/tape deck. All the other plugs are all in their correct location and the AVN7000 is all hooked up except some wires that I dont have the accesories to (DCU105, ipod, rear cam, etc).

    NOW

This is whats happening. As soon as I turn the car on there is a constant clicking coming from the stock screen. Second the AVN7000 does not turn on at all. The stock screen shows nothing and the AC controls are all glitchy. I can adjust the temp but it wont turn off.

Also I tried pluggin in the stock deck all back to the way it was and there was still the clicking. Basically everything was exactly the way it was before except for the the panel that goes over the shifter and the only connections on that is the cig lighter and the emergency lights. I doubt that is the problem.

Yea I bought the complete metra kit. Its a 2006 Maxima. I just checked the fuses and something weird happened when I pulled out the Navi/Disp/Seat Mod fuse. The clicking stopped and when I plugged it back in there was a small spark and the clicking started again. Also the Programmed seat position buttons ( 2 buttons used to save the drivers seat position) on the door are lit up when they shouldnt be. I think it could be something wrong with that fuse holder or sumthin.

put the stock stereo back in and make it look like you didnt touch anything then take to dealer and say WTF?

act rally pissed off and they will fix it, then when the car is fixed go to a quality install shop and have them do it

lol, but seriously it could be a couple of htings. I know the altima radios are weird because they're front face can detach from the unit itself. Maybe something like that???? Good luck.
