I've saving up to buy this radio.

Can the internal power be turned off if you run all amps?

when you use sirius with it, can it display both the artist name and the music title simultaneously?

You don't have to worry about turning off the internal amp on a Eclipse HU. The preouts are compleately isolated from the internal amplifier and will not give any added sound quality. Without a load on the internal amplifier (speakers) there won't be any added amperage used.
Eclipse web site has a chart explaining every feature that can be viewed with the sirius and the ipod.

well nevermind I just won an ebay auction for a alpine 9833 for $223.00... Lol I didn't think I would get it at that price since it has been tested and comes with a warranty.
