    Cheap HU?

    hey, my girlfriend is looking for a cheap HU (under 150 bux) that has RCA inputs for her mp3 player. any suggestions? i am not much of a HU expert. Crutchfield has a few, JVC or pioneer. how are their low-end models?

    those are all decent choices..if she is just looking for an hu. dont let these people fool you with their sony bashing. All i have ever had was sony and they all did AWESOME and the first time i didnt get a sony (dec 05 the hu i have in my sig) it has been nothing but a POS that i have to take out and have sent back to manufacturer. I will be running a sony again as soon as they make a high end one for this year.

    pretty much the same thing as the GT-200 except it has sat radio, and an extra preout. neither of which does she care about, and i would rather spend 10 bux on a warranty and install accesories from crutchfield.

    i got my pioneer last summer for 160 with all the installation kit stuff, the 470 model i think or 740 haha but yea its pretty good imo, probably cheaper now too

    i'd say go w/ crutchfield. you get the accessories and a warranty. i'd go w. clarion, but the sonys are ok too. at that price, its more cosmetics than anything id' wager.
