Pioneer 860MP - Clipping Volume

the things that i have learned.
3. clipping on a pioneer 860mp begins at about 28 out of 40

Is this the case? I would of thought it would start to clip at a higher volume. Can anyone credit to this information I dug up?

that's about right. i usually set mine around 30. no need for a higher volume

Cool, I'll set my gains using the volume at a max of 30.
