    Quicky: Testing a HeadUnit

    Is it possible to test it without hookin it up on the dash? thx.

    take the acc wire and battery(+) wire and connect it to the battery(+)
    take the ground wire and connect it to the battery/ground.(-)

    x2. that'll tell you if it powers up so just hook a speaker to one of the speaker leads to test the internal amp.

    x3, i usually get some speaker wire and connect the black wire to one side, the red\yellow wires to the other side and the black wire side goes to the battery -, and the red\yellow side goes to the battery + side, and cram them on (or use alagator clips if your special) and then pop a disc in and sit ther ewith each speaker terminal and test all the outputs on a spare speaker
