what is the diffrence between DEH-P8600MP and DEH-P860MP

what is the diffrence between DEH-P8600MP and DEH-P860MP is it worth the extra money for the 860mp. I noticed it had 6.5 preouts but thats all that looks to be diffrent.

the warranty is correct the 8600 has a 1 year andthe 860 has a 2 year. the 860 has 6.5 volt preouts and the 8600 has 4 volt preouts

well it doesnt look like the 8600mp has the 3 way electronic crossover either. ok another question. Whats the major diffrence in HU if im going to be running all external amps. And im going to ahve an external 3 way crossover . The PPI 1.

w/ the 860 you don't need an external crossover, it'll handle it all, freq, slope phase everything

got my 860 stolen, but liked it enough to buy another

if you got the external crossover then you might want to just get the 8600 then. isn't only like $10 more to get the premier?

the p8600mp has 3 modes of loudest (Low, Mid, High or OFF) and the p860mp is either ON or OFF

main differences

premier has 6.5 volt outs, and pro mode (3 way active crossover network)

imo it's DEF worth the extra money if only for pro mode alone, it really is a great unit

How much are you getting it for? Right now the Pioneer Premiers are pretty **** cheap at ikesound.com. You can get the Premier 770MP for 199. Thats def. what im getting for that price!

Pro mode has the 3-way active crossover (highpass/bandpass/lowpass). Not really necessary unless you are running an active frontstage.
